Direct Service Professional/Caregiver

We are seeking Direct Service Professionals, which includes: Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Patient Care Assistants (PCA) who are compassionate, caring and dependable. Transportation preferred.

Requirement:

• Experienced working with Clients with intellectual disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Developmental Delay
• Must have all documentation complete
• Complete/Willing to complete APD-trainings with TrainFlorida (Zero Tolerance, DCCC, HIPAA, All Waivers, HIV 101)
• Dependable, caring and reliable
• Must have or be able to obtain a Level 2 Background Check (ACHA)
• Local Background Screening (local police department)
• Certificate of Completion as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA or nursing assistant program
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Flexible shifts and schedules
• Immediate hire
• Minimum 1 year documented experience (preferred)
• Must have physical and either negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within 6 months of hire
• Great work ethic and communication skills- written/verbal
• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Florida Drivers License, Registration & Insurance

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with staff, family and caretakers.
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Assist the patient with bathing, grooming dressing and feeding.
• Transportation for appointments and errands
• Demonstrate competency in personal care techniques.
• Provide emotional support to the patient and their family.
• Assist the patient with activities of daily living.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
