We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide support to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting individuals with emotional support, and helping them to reach their personal goals. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and patient demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Personal Support For Twin brothers

MUST BE OKAY WITH PETS

Monday - Friday 2:00PM-6:30PM (Shift Available)

Saturday 9:00AM-3:00PM (Shift Available)

Overnight (Shift Available)

Responsibilities:

• Transport individuals from day program
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for individuals.
• Writing daily notes electronically
• Assist with medical needs as directed by a physician or nurse.
• Assist with communication, mobility, and socialization skills.
• Assist with recreational activities, including outings and community integration activities.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening & Local Law
• 2 years of employment reference and 3 personal references
• Valid Drivers license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Valid vehicle insurance

Zero Tolerance, HIPPA, HIV/AIDS, Direct Care Core Competencies, Electronic EMR Within 30 days of employment

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
