Direct Support Professional

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist individuals with their daily living, provide safety, and comfort.
• Provide assistance to the person with basic tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.
• Help with home management tasks such as preparing meals and cleaning.
• Perform housekeeping tasks in consumer's home.
• Organize and plan a schedule for the consumer's daily routine.
• Track and record client’s tasks and achievements.
• Provide transportation for daily outings.
• Provide companionship to the client
• Take client out occasionally for entertainment and sightseeing.
• Take client out for walks/exercise.
