Direct Support Professional

***These are the shifts available***

Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 5p-10p, Saturdays 8a-10p and Sundays 8a-10p

Fridays/saturdays 10p-8a

Our agency is looking for people with a Compassionate heart that enjoy assisting people that have disabilities to live the best life they possibly can. In this position it requires someone who is dependable and punctual. This is very important so that the individual can meet their daily obligations on time. The ideal person will have experience and a vehicle who is willing to transport the client to their daily appointments. If there is an appointment or obligation that requires travel our agency will work with you to satisfy the travel expense.

Some of the job duties (but NOT limited to) are as follows:

- assist client to their appointments or obligatory daily functions

- assist with personal care such as: bathing, toileting, cooking, cleaning etc.

-transferring from wheelchair to chair or vise versa

- position changing while in bed

- assisting with any other requested services by client

There may be other tasks requested that are not listed above but this will be discussed with our agency and client before accepting the position.
