Direct Support Professional

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional's (DSP) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with intellectual developmental needs, including other health conditions. Duties

• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, Dr appointments, and ADL"S such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Prepare nutritious meals or taking client out to eat.
• Observe and document patient behavior, progress, or any incidents accurately for care planning purposes.
• Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and mental well-being.

Skills

• DSP OR STNA experience preferred but will train.
• CPR/First Aid a plus but will provide testing
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Ability to perform light cleaning duties to uphold a safe and hygienic environment.
• Experience with care plans development and implementation for long-term or home health care settings
