DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

Coastal Opportunities, an agency providing services to adults with intellectual disabilities for over 50 years, is accepting applications for Direct Care staff/DSPs in their group homes in the Rockland area.

Staff are responsible for assisting residents to build skills in the areas of personal care, home care, communication, choice-making, money management, safety and community engagement. Staff encourage the residents to be as independent as possible and to advocate for themselves.

Staff are responsible for administering medications, maintaining a clean and safe home environment and documenting support provided during their shift.

We assist you in obtaining all required trainings.

Pay Rate: $18.81+/hour. Commensurate with experience.
Shift differential on weekends
Afternoon & evening hours.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, valid Maine driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
