Direct Support Professional

Renewed Beginnings Home Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team serving adolescent girls in a therapeutic residential setting. We are hiring for multiple shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and morning shifts.

Available Shifts

• Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overnight Shifts
• Weekend Overnight Shifts
• Morning Shifts

Position Summary

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care, supervision, support, and assistance to residents in a structured residential environment. DSPs help ensure the safety, well-being, and daily living needs of residents while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and compliance with agency policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor residents at all times
• Assist residents with daily living skills and routines
• Support residents with hygiene, meals, chores, and bedtime/morning routines
• Maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment
• Complete required documentation and daily notes in a timely manner
• Monitor behaviors and report incidents appropriately
• Administer or assist with medications as trained and authorized
• Transport residents to school, appointments, and activities as needed
• Conduct room checks and safety checks throughout shifts
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the home environment
• Follow all company policies, client rights, confidentiality, and safety procedures
• Participate in required trainings and team meetings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with children, teens, behavioral health, or group homes preferred
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to pass background checks

Preferred Certifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Medication Administration Training
• De-escalation/Behavioral Intervention Training
