Direct Support Professional - 24 hour shifts. Full time or Part Time

We are currently hiring for a non-live-in position to provide support to individuals that experience a disability in their home.

About the Role:

You will be working directly with clients in their home. A private sleeping area is provided for staff, and sleep time is included during overnight hours. This is a contracted position that offers a choice of taking one to three shifts per week.

The shifts available are:

Saturdays 7:30 AM to Sundays 7:30 AM

Sundays 7:30AM to Mondays 7:30 AM

Mondays 7:30 AM to Tuesdays 7:30 AM

Tuesdays 7:30 AM to Wednesdays 7:30AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (hygiene, grooming, feeding, ambulation).
• Monitor health and safety of individuals served.
• Foster positive relationships between caretakers and individuals.
• Assist with self-administration of medication (with proper training).
• Encourage self-help and independence in daily activities.
• Report changes in condition or family situation to supervisors.
• Document services provided accurately.
• Perform home management tasks (light housekeeping, meal prep, etc.).
• Support daily living skills and community integration.

Qualifications & Skills

• MUST be able to pass a federal background check.
• MUST have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in home and community settings.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs., bend, stoop, push, pull, and walk.
• Flexibility and reliability in scheduling.
• Willingness to train and be trained.
• Timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Access to email and internet.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Current CPR/First Aid preferred (training available).
• Experience in caregiving preferred, but we will train the right candidate.

Pay: $315.00 - $350.00 per day
