Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure resident health and safety
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities in EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care techniques and behavior management strategies
• Support residents during meal preparation and feeding to promote proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties in resident rooms and common areas

Requirements

• Prior experience in home & community care environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is preferred
• Ability to assist with ADLs using proper techniques and safety protocols
• Valid driver’s license for transportation duties is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate attitude towards residents’ needs

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
