Direct Support Professionals help adults in a 6-bed residential home for people with developmental disabilities. Residents are assisted and taught activities of daily living in areas of laundry, dressing, eating, cleaning, bathing, toileting, and making choices, etc. Active treatment used to enhance independence. Residents participate in recreational activities, and are taken out to the community and to doctor appointments. Mobil phone use is limited to work related calls.

Applicants should be responsible, self-motivated, compassionate, self-initiated. One year experience as Direct Care Staff or Direct Support Professional, or CNA, a plus, with either an Intermediate Care Facility/DD-H or an Adult Residential Facility and good communication skills for the higher pay rate.

Pay: $19.00 - 19.50 per hour.
Fri, Sat & Sun 10 PM - 7 AM Awake overnight
Driving time to the center of Simi Valley should be 20 minutes or less.
