Show Me Supports, LLC offers Individualized Supported Living, Shared Living (Host and Companion Home), and a variety of Personal Assistant services for individuals with IDD in Southwest Missouri in order to enhance their lives through offering full participation and integration into their community.

Essential Responsibilities/Job Duties

• Performing personal care supports, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, nutrition, and health care related oversight
• Ensuring individual safety and maintaining a safe environment
• Reminding/supporting individuals with medication management
• Documenting services provided
• Performing home management supports such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning
• Planning meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals, feeding and clean-up
• Accompanying individual to scheduled appointments
• Transporting individual to choice of community outings
• Other duties as assigned to support an individual's needs

Qualifications:

• High school degree/GED required
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
• Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
• Must maintain state regulatory certifications, as required by state/program requirements
• Medication Administration as required by state/program requirements
