Direct Support Professional (One-on-One)

**Job Summary:**

Join our team as a Direct Support Professional and make a difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, administering medication, facilitating community engagement, and fostering independence. You will meet this client at their home in Ogden, get her out into the community, and take her back to her home in Ogden.

**Hours:**

Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

**Pay.**

You will start at $14 an hour, and as soon as you have completed your training, you will be moved to $16 an hour

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals

- Facilitate participation in activities

- Support individuals in setting and achieving personal goals for independence

**Qualifications:**

- Client is going through a big change and will need a staff member who can support her as she navigates these difficult changes.

- Familiarity with first aid practices

- Drivers license with full coverage insurance
