Direct Support Professional - Overnight 11p-9a

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and fostering a positive environment for those in your care. This is a full-time 11p - 9a position with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and day program.
• Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect confidentiality and privacy.
• Engage clients in social activities that promote community involvement and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Background in patient care, nursing home settings, or home health is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others achieve their fullest potential.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is an advantage but not required.
• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Clean criminal background
• Child abuse registry check
