Direct Support Professional- Tues, Wed, Thu Fri 4pm-8pm and every other weekend Sat and Sun 3pm-10pm

Direct Care Staff – Every Tuesday 4pm-8pm, Wednesday 4pm-8pm, Thursday 3pm-10pm, Friday 4pm-8pm, and every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 3pm-10pm, is responsible for providing a warm and friendly environment where the residents with intellectual disabilities are comfortable in their home and their needs are met. Interactions with residents will include providing dinner in the evening, passing medications and recording data in MARS, tracking interactions with clients, writing notes and relevant data in log books, and house cleaning.

Your primary goal is to help make the residents home and life a little better than it was the day before.

Requirements:

The applicant must be Kind and Patient. The applicant must be punctual. The applicant must take on the responsibility of care with great responsibility. The applicant must pass a state background check and have a clean driving record. Drivers license preffered for this role.

Training will be provided to ensure that the Direct Care Staff will be fully knowledgeable on all procedures that will be required to perform their duties. This training will involve reading of rules, procedures, policies, and goals. Additional training will be provided onsite with the opportunities to shadow others in order to learn the job comprehensively.

Your relevant skills in behavior management and meal preparation will enhance the quality of life for those you support, making a meaningful impact in their daily experiences.
