Direct Support Professional/Caregiver- Weekday PM Shifts and Weekend Shift Available

Zen House, Inc. is a group home where we provide support and services for adolescents with developmental disabilities ages 13-17. We are located in Spring Valley, CA and are looking for vibrant staff to join our growing team!

Experience is not required but it is a plus!

Job Responsibilities:

-Upon completion of appropriate training, you will complete and/or assist the clients in maintaining the cleanliness of the residence, including household chores, room cleaning, and client's laundry.
-Complete and/or assist clients with clean up after meals.
-Monitor the health status of the clients. Report and document daily notes and log community outings.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
-Must obtain valid/current CPR & First aid card.
-Must clear physical/TB testing and criminal background screening. (Note: Zen House, Inc. will reimburse applicant for LiveScan upon criminal background clearance and after 90 days of employment.)

Shifts we are looking to fill: Weekends (Sundays) 3pm-11pm and weekday PM Shifts: (Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays) 2pm-10pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
