Job Summary:
The OPD Coordinator will oversee and streamline all outpatient department operations to ensure smooth patient flow, effective coordination among consultants, and high-quality patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily OPD schedules and appointments for consultants.
- Ensure smooth patient registration, billing, and consultation flow.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist in managing OPD statistics and reports.
- Coordinate with nursing, billing, and medical records teams for efficient service delivery.
- Monitor waiting times and address patient queries and grievances courteously.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, grooming, and service quality standards.
- Support departmental audits, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
- Knowledge of hospital management systems (HMS) preferred.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel).
- Pleasant personality and professional grooming.
Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare or Hospital Management preferred).
