Directional Drill Operator – CDL Required (Ditch Witch Experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Directional Drill Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate must be skilled in operating a Ditch Witch JT28, or any Ditch Witch machine and hold a valid CDL license. This role involves working on underground utility projects, ensuring safe and efficient drilling operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Ditch Witch for underground drilling projects
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Read and follow utility plans, bore paths, and project layouts
• Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are followed
• Work closely with crew members to complete projects on time
• Maintain a clean and organized job site

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a Ditch Witch
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – required
• Knowledge of underground utility installation (electric, fiber, water, etc.)
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Experience with locating equipment
• Knowledge of HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) processes
• OSHA certifications (a plus)

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
