Position Title: Director, 340B Programs
Reports To: Senior Vice President, 340B Location: Hybrid Remote/Corporate Headquarters FLSA Classification: Exempt
The Director, 340B Programs is responsible for supporting JAXSCO RX’s overall 340B program, including maximizing client’s (covered entity) individual 340B programs. Overall responsibilities include overseeing 340B Program Management team, monitoring, reporting, and analyzing 340B Program activities for current and potential clients; providing 340B compliance support; making recommendations to maximize covered entity 340B Programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervise, mentor, and provide oversight for 340B Program Managers and other assigned team members to ensure high performance, accountability, and professional development.
· Responsible for the ongoing account relationship management, 340B program(s) management and optimization, and regular communications with 340B covered entities.
· Create and monitor dashboards (e.g., KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of key components of 340B program, including but not limited to 340B campaigns, and make data-driven improvements.
· Provide 340B program(s) direction, oversight of 340B Program Managers, ongoing daily support, monitoring, and documents (e.g., reports, proformas), the 340B team(s)/department/ leadership, covered entities, and partner organizations.
· Establish, collaborate, lead, and facilitate internal 340B strategy work groups, implementation teams, and special initiatives.
· Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure precise and effective execution, administration, and/or maximization of a portfolio of 340B programs.
· Maintain knowledge and expertise on Section 340B rulings and related interpretations, including but not limited to new and proposed regulations, current trends and issues, assessing potential organizational impact of 340B changes, and ensuring a 340B program(s) is continuously compliant with federal regulations.
· Provide audit data support to 340B team and covered entities (e.g., 340B internal audits, 340B external independent audits, 340B HRSA audits) to covered entities.
· Maximize Return On Investment (ROI) through internal and external 340B program audits and other analytics.
· Collaborate with CE leadership, payers, physicians, or other medical providers to discuss potential incompatibility or compliance issues within the 340B programs.
· Monitor/Analyze 340B contract capture rates.
· Perform regulatory compliance audits on a continuous basis of all aspects of CE 340B Programs, including, but not limited to, contract arrangements, federal registrations, and patient and provider eligibility.
· Provide 340B and compliance-related training and education to internal and external stakeholders.
· Provide ongoing status of 340B program(s) by collecting, interpreting, and reporting 340B CE data to the 340B Team, Executive Leadership Team, and/or other individuals, where requested and authorized.
· Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing 340B information and trends for the 340B Team, Executive Leadership Team, and/or other individuals, where requested and authorized.
· Proactively identify and analyze problems and provide effective solutions.
· Serve as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders (e.g., nonprofits, covered entities, community groups, partners, payers).
· Monitor 340B compliance within workflow processes.
· Work with the covered entity to address and resolve any issues
· Monitor purchasing records for covered entities; clearly documents utilization, savings, problem areas, and exceptions or discrepancies.
· Monitor for 340B pricing exclusions or shortages and establish appropriate alternative products that are included when possible, including work with medical staff and formulary to ensure proper position and related use.
· Other duties as requested or assigned.
CONFERENCES & MEEINGS
· Represent JAXSCO RX at local, state, regional, and national meetings, conferences, and training related to 340B, operations, etc.
· Serve as an official representative and/or spokesperson, where appropriate and approved in advance by the SVP, 340B.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analysis, healthcare administration, public health, psychology, political science, or public policy.
· Experience (3-5 years) with project management.
· Experience (3-5 years) working with HIV-serving, public health, or LGBTQ+ nonprofits.
· Experience (3-5 years) working directly with federal 340B grantees (Ryan White, STD/STI, FQHC, disproportionate share hospitals (DSH), etc.), ambulatory care clinics, etc.
· Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant certifications.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strategic thinking and the ability to align strategic initiatives with organizational goals.
· Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
· Experience working in an ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse environment.
· Experience working with companies or nonprofit organizations that provide direct care or services to clients/patients living with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and/or to clients/patients who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community.
o Currently has or is willing to acquire foundational knowledge about key concepts and terminologies relevant to the LGBTQ+ population, including but not limited to pronoun usage, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identities, and intersectionality of multiple identities.
· Class D driver’s license.
HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master of Management in Health CARE (MMHC), Master of Public Health (MPH), or a similarly related. A terminal degree (e.g., PhD, DrPH, DHA, DBA, PharmD, MD, DO) is a plus.
· Additional certifications, including but not limited to Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), CPhT-Adv, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Associate Certified Analytics Professional (aCAP), CompTIA Data+, Google Data Analytics Professional, IBM Data Program Manager Professional, Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Program Manager, SAS Certified Advanced Analytics Professional, PMP, 340B ACE (Apexus Certified Expert), AAHIVE/S/P (HIV Expert/Specialist/Pharmacist),
· Demonstrated success in leading complex special projects with multiple stakeholders.
· Advanced experience (5+ years) working with HIV-serving, public health, or LGBTQ+ nonprofits.
· Advanced experience (5+ years) working directly with federal 340B grantees (Ryan White, STD/STI, FQHC, disproportionate share hospitals (DSH), etc.), ambulatory care clinics, etc.
· Advanced experience (5+ years) working with the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
· Advanced experience (5+ years) with 340B program development, audits (internal and/or external), and analysis.
· Experience with governance frameworks and compliance standards.
· Experience working within a healthcare or healthcare-related company.
· Advanced experience (5+ years) working with companies or nonprofit organizations that provide direct care or services to clients/patients living with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and/or to clients/patients who identify as part of the
LGBTQ+ community.
· Bilingual in Spanish.
LOCATION & REPORTING
· This is a hybrid position with is primarily remote option and requirements for in-office attendance/work at the Corporate Headquarters in Brentwood, Tennessee, along with any additional work-related travel (e.g., conferences, site visits, covered entity visits).
· Regular visits to Corporate Headquarters may be required during the first year of employment.
· This position will report to the SVP, 340B. Reporting structure is subject to change with organizational needs.
