Director at Daycare / Childcare Center

What Are We Looking For

Big Hearts Little Hands is seeking a Director to be the leader of our staff of 25 teachers and 130 children. A Director should have multiple years of experience as an administrator in a childcare setting and higher educational credentials (CDA, Associates, or Bachelors Degree).

Big Hearts Little Hands is the leading independently branded childcare center and preschool in Powell, Ohio. We are part of Early Bird Education Group, a network of 11 childcare centers across OH and KY. Requirements

  • Higher educational credentials (CDA, Associates or Bachelors degree) is required
  • Multiple years of experience in a childcare center as an administrator
  • Leadership capabilities with ability to manage 20+ staff with a respectful, inspiring and levelheaded demeanor
  • Self-starter and problem-solving, can-do mentality
  • Dependable, reliable and professional
  • Positive energy with a love for working with children and families

Basic Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Leader of Big Hearts Little Hands in all aspects
  • Setting staff schedules on a daily basis
  • Provide on-going communication with families through Brightwheel
  • Billing plans upkeep and maintenance through Brightwheel
  • Ensuring licensing compliance in all aspects
  • Maintain high level of educational care and proper curriculum implementation
  • Timeclock and payroll management
  • Maintain a clean and aesthetic environment
  • Serve as a role model for children by providing a professional appearance and appropriate mannerisms
