Job Purpose

The Director, Broker Dealer & Marketing Analytics & Insights provides reporting and analytics for the Strategic Relationships and Marketing teams. The Director performs analysis to identify distributor needs and provides actionable insights to ensure those needs are addressed. The Director is also responsible for supporting the future vision and roadmap for Jackson's analytics and insights capabilities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Executes and assists in the development of the overall analytics strategy to support marketing and broker dealer objectives.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to align analytics initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Oversees the collection, analysis, and interpretation of broker dealer and marketing data.
  • Provides analysis and insights for new product launches, product changes, new firm launches and firm data for business plans
  • Translates complex data into actionable insights and recommendations to meet distributor needs.
  • Analyzes and reviews key advisor lists for marketing strategy, communications, and product groups to coordinate product rollouts, launches, campaigns, and marketing initiatives for the Strategic Relationships team.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency through advanced analytics, testing, and innovation.
  • Develops and implements frameworks for marketing performance measurement, attribution modeling, and ROI analysis.
  • Designs and delivers reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all reporting outputs.
  • Evaluates, implements, and optimizes analytics tools, platforms, and technologies.
  • Ensures data quality, privacy, and compliance with relevant governance.
  • Acts in accordance with policies and best practices for data management and governance.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of analysts responsible for analyzing and evaluating broker dealer and marketing needs.
  • Collaborates with data scientists to continuously improve analytic capabilities.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning and data-driven decision-making within team.
  • Directs staff and has overall accountability for personnel actions, including hiring, performance management, compensation, training and development, discipline, and termination of direct reports within their team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team, including the ability to delegate.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Jackson’s products, policies, procedures, and systems or ability to acquire this knowledge quickly.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data visualization and data science modeling techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with an ability to facilitate key communications.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to grow and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Knowledge of various presentation styles with the ability to tailor the approach to the audience and effectively present to C-level executives.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manipulate and analyze complex data sets to provide comprehensive insights.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in one or more enterprise analytics platforms, including Adobe Marketing Cloud, Marketo, and/or Seismic or ability to acquire this knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 5+ years of relevant data analytics experience required.

  • Experience managing a high-performing team strongly preferred.

  • Marketing, sales, business development, and/or technical support experience preferred.
