Director Carrier Relations

Eagle Transportation Logistics is a truckload freight brokerage in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. We were named Global Transportation Supplier of the Year by Grainger for 2022. This is a fast-paced, high-energy work environment in an exciting and growing industry. The right candidate will have an outgoing personality, be efficient and meticulous, take pride in accuracy, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and basic math skills are a MUST. PLEASE READ: This portion is a key guardian against fraud in our company. It requires a toughness and street smarts that are key to operating in the current transportation environment. The right person for this job has an excellent BS detector.

Daily responsibilities include:

-Dispatching drivers, plus managing a team of dispatchers.

-Screening carriers per the company's guidelines

-Checking carrier references

-Entering information and updates into Transportation Management System (TMS)

-Verifying load/appointment details

-Calculating fuel surcharges

-Supporting operations/broker team

-Managing the company's scorecard process
