Director / Chief Information Officer

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is seeking a strategic and experienced Director/Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the organization’s information technology and systems infrastructure. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director/CIO will oversee the planning, implementation, security, and optimization of all information systems to support clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and long-term organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all hospital information systems, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, and data management.

· Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies and system enhancements to support hospital operations.

· Ensure effective integration, security, and performance of all data systems across departments.

· Establish policies, procedures, and standards for system governance, cybersecurity, and data management.

· Oversee Information Systems staff, including recruitment, performance management, and professional development.

· Develop and manage the departmental technology budget, including hardware, software, and infrastructure investments.

· Partner with executive leadership and clinical departments to align technology initiatives with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

· Progressive leadership experience in information systems management, preferably within a healthcare environment.

· Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise technology initiatives and drive organizational transformation through technology.

Who We Are:

· Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is the only full-service hospital in Niagara County. The facility offers a 171-bed regional medical center with extensive inpatient and outpatient services, including a full-service Medical & Psychiatric Emergency Room, The Heart Center of Niagara featuring an on-site Cath Lab, Niagara Wellness Connection Center, The Wound Center of Niagara, OB/GYN Center and UBMD Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. We also offer a comprehensive range of surgical services.

· The first hospital in Niagara to be designated a stroke center by the New York State Department of Health, we operate several satellite facilities, including the Summit Healthplex, Tuscarora Health Center, primary care offices in Niagara Falls, Wheatfield and the Town of Niagara. Schoellkopf Health Center, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility that specializes in short-term rehabilitation and elder care. Like the medical center itself, Schoellkopf features 100-percent private room accommodation.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
