Director, Childcare Center

Our center has small class sizes and personalized attention, creating a positive environment for both children and staff. We are licensed for 32 children and are a Play-Based Center featuring a Morning Preschool Program. We are looking for a strong leader to boost enrollment and manage a professional team of teachers.

<Overview>
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director to lead our childcare center, ensuring high-quality educational programs and exceptional care for children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of young learners while managing daily operations, staff development, and community engagement.

<Responsibilities>

  • Develop and oversee innovative curriculum plans that promote developmental milestones and foster creativity among children.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to expand program offerings, improve service quality, and strengthen community partnerships.
  • Supervise staff, including teachers and administrative personnel, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee classroom operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with families through regular communication, public speaking engagements, and community events to build trust and support.

<Qualifications>

  • Proven experience in education administration or early childhood management with a strong background in classroom teaching and supervision.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and inspire excellence.
  • Expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working directly with young children.
  • Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements with parents, staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Supervising experience in a childcare or educational setting is highly preferred.

Pay: $47,060.01 - $56,674.43 per year
