What you will be doing:
Drive improved revenue cycle for the continuum of care business unit, increasing revenue and decreasing time to revenue by improving the pharmacy contract connectivity process, rates and accuracy for the Continuum of Care members, suppliers, and distributors we serve.
This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all operational processes to maximize contract penetration, optimize revenue capture and deliver value to members and supplier partners.
Lead a team of motivated professionals enabling their growth and development through the effective use of technology and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Strategic Leadership – 50%
Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the pharmacy connection team.
Lead day-to-day operations of pharmacy GPO programs, including contract attachment, eligibility validation, and pricing compliance. Ensure accurate and timely contract attachments to prevent revenue leakage and compliance risks.
Communicate results directly to Continuum of Care leadership team, field force, members, and Premier staff through formal and informal presentations of data using Premier communication tools.
Independently develop, execute, and lead complex action plans for resolving revenue delays and challenges through collaboration with technology (internal and external partners), sourcing, operations, suppliers, and distributors.
Lead operational planning, aligning GPO initiatives with organizational goals to increase contract penetration and revenue capture.
Monitor key performance Indicators KPIs and Individual Process Metrics to track progress, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
Manage contract connection lifecycle processes including manufacture connection, wholesaler linkage, member eligibility validation and pricing audits.
Develop relationships with key supplier stakeholders to maintain clear understanding of rules of engagement for connection and resolve discrepancies in pricing eligibility, or contract terms.
Process Improvement and Technology Enablement – 30%
Drive efficiency through automation, workflow enhancements, and adoption of technology.
Implement reporting dashboards and scorecards to track contract attachments, member connection, and revenue impact.
Identify and execute process improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability of operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – 10%
Collaborate with sales, contracting, finance, and IT teams to streamline onboarding and member support.
Act as the operational liaison between Sales Team, pharmacy members, and suppliers.
Support escalation and issue resolution related to contract or member operations.
Team Leadership and Development – 10%
Manage and mentor team of pharmacy analysts, ensuring strong execution and growth in expertise.
Provide training and coaching on contract connection management, data analysis, and best operational practices.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and member/supplier satisfaction.
Develop staff’s ability to use investigative reasoning to critically audit the data to understand the interconnectivity between the data, the supplier’s operational processes and the members’ purchasing habits, enabling them to independently investigate areas of revenue leakage and delays.
Support escalation and issue resolution related to contract or member operations.

Experience:
Expertise in GPO Operations, pharmacy contracting, supply chain or healthcare distribution
Expertise in contract implementation and pricing validation
Strong knowledge of pharmacy distribution models, GPO contract structures, and supplier/distributor relationships.
Proven ability to lead operational teams and manage complex workflows.
Education:
Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
