We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director: Commercial & Business Development to lead and grow the commercial function of a dynamic construction company in Riyadh.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and shaping the commercial strategy within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute commercial, sales, and business development strategies
- Drive revenue growth, utilization, and market expansion
- Build and manage strong client relationships with developers, contractors, and partners
- Oversee bids, tenders, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Develop pricing strategies aligned with market conditions
- Strengthen brand positioning and market presence
- Lead market research and translate insights into business opportunities
- Ensure strong commercial governance and risk management
- Grow external equipment rental business
- Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years of relevant experience in equipment/commercial/ construction environments
- 10+ years in a leadership role managing similar functions
- Strong background in contracting and equipment rental markets
- Proven track record in revenue growth and strategic leadership
