Job Purpose
The Director of Data Sales leads Arabsat’s government and data sales strategy, ensuring revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term customer retention across telecom operators, ISPs, government entities, and enterprise clients. The role drives commercial performance, manages a high-performing sales team, and builds strategic partnerships to strengthen Arabsat’s position as a leading provider of satellite-based data and connectivity solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage Government & Data Sales teams, set targets, and ensure achievement of revenue objectives.

Drive sales growth across government, enterprise, ISP, and telecom operator segments.

Expand market share through new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative sales models.

Lead negotiations for major contracts and tenders, securing long-term agreements.

Strengthen key client relationships to maximize satisfaction, retention, and account growth.

Analyze competitive landscape and provide insights to support product and service development.

Oversee forecasting, budgeting, sales cycle efficiency, and segment-level performance reporting.

Collaborate with Product Development, Technical Operations, Marketing, and Finance to deliver integrated solutions.

Ensure coordination between sales, pre-sales, and technical teams for seamless solution delivery.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or similar field;
MBA preferred
.

15+ years
in sales, business development, or account management in satellite, telecom, or ICT sectors.

10+ years
in leadership roles managing major accounts and high-performing sales teams.

Strong track record in government and enterprise sales with proven revenue growth.

Experience in solution selling, public-sector procurement, and high-value contract negotiation.
