Director of Dermatology & Aesthetics

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Director of Dermatology & Aesthetics to lead our high-volume, multi-room dermatology and medical aesthetics division. This leader oversees daily operations, team performance, treatment quality, and guest experience while partnering closely with medical providers to ensure safe, scope-appropriate care. The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise, a hospitality-driven mindset, and deep knowledge of aesthetic treatments, devices, and clinical workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across consult rooms, laser/procedure rooms, and facial treatment spaces
- Ensure efficient scheduling, room utilization, and treatment flow
- Implement and maintain standardized treatment protocols and safety procedures
- Recruit, train, and develop aestheticians, laser technicians, medical assistants, and support staff
- Partner with medical leadership to ensure clinical alignment and regulatory compliance
- Manage inventory, device maintenance, vendor relationships, and capital equipment planning
- Deliver a luxury, hospitality-driven guest experience from consultation through follow-up
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and effective service recovery
- Track KPIs including revenue, utilization, rebooking, conversion rates, and retail performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and departmental growth strategies
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, state board regulations, and internal safety standards
- Collaborate with Spa, Salon, Recovery, Fitness, and Concierge teams to support integrated guest journeys
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of leadership experience in dermatology, medical aesthetics, or a high-end med-spa
- Strong understanding of dermatology operations, laser safety, and aesthetic treatment protocols
- Experience managing multi-room, multi-provider environments
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing KPIs and budgets
- Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and guest service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury, multi-department environment

Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- spa/practice management: 5 years (Required)
