Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Director, Digital Marketing, Consumer Vertical, to develop and lead the digital marketing strategy for AGIA and, over time, the consumer vertical. This role is responsible for identifying new growth opportunities through digital marketing sophistication, leading our digital direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy, and driving growth in partner marketing through expansion of digital channel activation and sophistication. This role blends performance marketing expertise with strategic advisory capabilities, ensuring that both D2C and affinity partner categories deliver full-funnel growth through data-driven insights, digital best practices, and an optimized channel strategy.

The primary focus of this role is driving direct-to-consumer and affinity growth through digital channels in AGIA, an established, but growing insurance and benefits marketing partner to some of the largest and most iconic associations and organizations in the country. This role will expand over time to drive growth in the consumer vertical more broadly

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth in AGIA’s Affinity and Direct to Consumer (DTC) markets through Digital Performance Marketing.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a growth-minded digital marketing team that serves as a thought leader and partner in digital innovation to the business, ultimately driving both DTC and partner growth. Build organizational capability in digital marketing strategy and execution, performance analytics, and partner marketing digital sophistication.
  • Develop, own, and execute the DTC digital marketing strategy to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention, leading full-funnel campaign planning across paid search, paid social, display, video, email, SEO, and website optimization. Own and direct relationships with digital marketing agencies, setting strategy, optimizing spend, and ensuring campaigns meet performance goals.
  • Own the comprehensive paid media budget, channel strategy, and performance metrics for DTC channels to maximize ROI through ongoing performance analysis and channel optimization.
  • Create and oversee testing strategies (A/B, multivariate, creative, and channel-level) to drive continuous optimization and innovation across products and clients.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the partner marketing team, guiding them to enhance digital strategies within integrated campaigns that include direct mail and integrate digital media into overall partner marketing programs. Collaborate with partner marketing managers to co-develop campaign strategies, test new channels & tactics, and share insights that lift partner performance.
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing to translate value propositions into digital campaign creative that move consumers through the funnel, increase conversion rates, and meet business goals.
  • Partner with technology and web development and ecommerce teams to enhance marketing automation, tracking, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Perform other miscellaneous functions and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred).
  • 10+ years leading digital marketing from start to finish, managing budgets, and setting overall digital strategy, with at least 5 years leading a high-performing digital marketing team that has driven D2C and/or B2C growth within digital channels.
  • Advanced experience with paid media platforms across affiliate, search, programmatic, display, social, OLV, and other emerging channels.
  • Experience with website and landing page development and optimization including best practices in SEO, CRO, and content management.
  • Experience within financial services, insurance, or adjacent categories is preferred.
  • Experience with email marketing in lead generation, nurture, and customer renewal (experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred).
  • Data-driven and metric-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of management principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation, CRM and analytics, tools.
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level (both internally and externally).

Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel requirement
