Summary
Merage Foundations is a consortium of nonprofit family foundations, including the David Merage Foundation for Confronting Antisemitism, headquartered in Englewood, Colorado. The mission of the David Merage Foundationis to mobilize the largest possible movement of Americans to confront Jew hatred and the moral and mortal threat it poses. The position requires a high-performing, bold leader who will be comfortable in a dynamic environment and ready to play a key role on a passionate, dedicated team and enjoys working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment. The successful candidate will be creative, forceful, resourceful, can attend to detail, and effectively manage multiple simultaneous responsibilities.
Reporting to Laura Merage, responsibilities will include advancing and implementing the Foundations strategy on confronting antisemitism in the US. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, nimble, diplomatic, and innovative leader; have an active management and leadership approach with a focus on results and commitment to excellence and collaboration across the larger organization and beyond. Success will require adeptly balancing strategic thinking with effective implementation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Leverage excellent problem-solving skills, ensuring that obstacles are overcome with efficient, effective, and bold solutions
- Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, maintaining a clear overview of all moving parts within the organization while ensuring that each team member is aligned with the organization's goals and working cohesively towards them
- Professionally, diplomatically, and effectively represent the Foundation to various stakeholders to help catalyze action towards stopping Jew hatred
- Steer the organization towards its strategic objectives while fostering an environment that promotes growth and innovation
- Seek out and facilitate opportunities to partner with other institutions and organizations to advance the Foundations mission
- Manage the grant-making for the Foundation in alignment with the overall strategy to confront antisemitism
- Manage the finances of the Foundation in partnership with other organizational leaders
- Keep abreast of community and national issues and trends that have impact on the work of the Foundation and share this knowledge with the Board as appropriate
- Lead, manage, and implement all strategies for the Foundation
- Maintain collaborative, effective working relationship with the business office

- Experience with developing individual and organizational performance metrics and designing tracking and reporting methods
- Someone who has a wide circle of influence and can gain the trust and cooperation of others at all levels of business and government
- Knowledge of Private Family Foundation principals and concepts
- Strong organizational skills with ability to adhere to fast-paced project timelines
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Management or related degree, Graduate degree preferred
- Experience in collective impact, convening and leading other organizations towards common goals, developing funding partners and alliances
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Preferred experience in Philanthropy/Nonprofit administration and Startups
- Preferred experience or exposure to confronting antisemitism
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to address challenges with creative problem solving and maintain high performance levels in a rapidly evolving work environment
- High emotional intelligence and excellent relationship building skills
- Preferred experience preparing and administering budgets
- Ability to interface with sensitive information ethically and responsibly
- Strong organizational skills with ability to adhere to fast-paced project timelines
Travel
Salary Range
- $150,000 - $175,000 annually
