Director, Embedded Client Strategy and Operations

Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented senior leader to drive cross-functional execution across a portfolio of products for a key client. While this role will be an employee of Petauri Advance, the individual will be working as an embedded team member with the client team and fully allocated to the client team’s needs. They will be responsible for translating brand strategies into high-quality HCP engagement, congress activation, and peer-to-peer programming. The ideal candidate excels at operational leadership, cross-functional collaboration, thought-leader engagement, and guiding complex workstreams in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Shape annual and quarterly plans across brands and initiatives.
  • Translate marketplace and customer insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with marketing, medical, sales, payer, and field leadership to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Serve as a strategic point of contact for assigned client partners.

Thought Leader Engagement & Congress Strategy
  • Support identification, contracting, and engagement of national thought leader faculty.
  • Lead congress-related strategy, governance participation, and attendee preparation.
  • Coordinator and logistics lead for scheduling TL engagements and receptions with brand and senior leadership at congresses
  • Support on-site execution in-person across priority congresses (may include 2-3 a year)
  • Oversee planning and delivery of speaker training across formats.

Operational Excellence & Program Execution
  • Manage approval processes for advisory boards and peer to peer content.
  • Oversee processes for congress attendance, inventory compliance, and logistics.
  • Ensure strong coordination with agencies and vendors.
  • Work with procurement and associated systems to attain vendor support for initiatives.

Field Enablement & Training
  • Support field-facing update calls and monthly communication.
  • Deliver training for field leaders on programming and processes.
  • Ensure clear dissemination of program updates and timelines.

Client Partnership & Account Development
  • Provide proactive recommendations to enhance programming.
  • Strengthen relationships through consultative support.
  • Contribute to agency RFPs and proposals as needed without primary revenue ownership.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications, or related fields.
  • Experience in Immunology or specialty therapeutic areas strongly preferred.
  • Expertise with systems such as Veeva Vault PromoMats, H1, and Veeva Digital Events systems.
  • Experience in congress planning, speaker bureau operations, and compliant HCP engagement.
  • Willingness to travel (~20%)
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams with strong prioritization
