JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Employee and Labor Relations provides strategic leadership and direction for the division’s employee and labor relations programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This position leads the Department of Employee and Labor Relations, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and systemic alignment in collective bargaining, grievance management, conflict resolution, investigations, and policy development. The Director works to cultivate an inclusive and supportive organizational culture, leveraging data to guide decision-making and ensuring employees feel valued, supported, and connected to the mission of Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS). The Director serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring employee and labor relations strategies align with the School Division’s mission and long-term goals.
