Director ENC Product

Job Purpose:We are seeking a visionary Product Director to lead the Esports Nations Cup (ENC), one of the most ambitious global esports initiatives. ENC will be the world's first global, recurring, multi-title esports tournament where nations compete on gaming's biggest stage. Held every two years, the event unites the best players from around the world, battling not only for victory with their clubs but for the prestige of representing their countries.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of competitive esports by creating an unforgettable, world-class tournament experience for players, fans, and partners. You will be responsible for the end-to-end product strategy, design, and execution of the Esports Nations Cup - ensuring it becomes a flagship event on the global esports calendar. As a seasoned leader, you'll bring the ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with operational excellence, leading cross-functional teams, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, and setting the gold standard for competitive esports tournaments worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities

Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Esports Nations Cup, positioning it as a premier global esports property.

Translate business objectives into innovative tournament formats, audience engagement strategies, and long-term growth initiatives.

Establish success metrics and data-driven KPIs to measure impact and guide strategic decisions.

Own the end-to-end product design: from qualification formats, venue selection, and competitive structure to fan experiences and digital engagement.

Benchmark against top global esports and sporting events to continuously elevate ENC's competitive positioning.

Lead innovation in event experience, ensuring tournaments remain cutting-edge and highly engaging for both players and fans.

Partner closely with Marketing, Commercial, Games, Clubs & Players, and other teams to deliver aligned, high-impact results.

Manage external vendors, broadcasters, and production partners to ensure flawless execution at every stage.

Oversee multi-million-dollar budgets and ensure cost-effective decision-making without compromising quality.

Help to build strong product governance frameworks, ensuring effective reporting, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field.

10+ years of experience in esports, including 3+ years in senior leadership roles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven track record of designing and executing international tournaments or major competitive ecosystems.

Strong understanding of the global esports landscape, including game genres, league structures, and audience dynamics.

Extensive experience managing large teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

Demonstrated success in managing high-value budgets and delivering large-scale, complex projects.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and comfort thriving in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Prior experience collaborating with game publishers, broadcasters, and major sponsorship partners.
