Company Overview
We are a privately held family office focused on real estate investment overseeing a portfolio of 50+ commercial retail properties across Southern California. Our office is located on Sunset Boulevard near Beverly Hills.

Role Overview
We are seeking a self-directed financial professional to oversee day-to-day accounting operations while supporting property management and office administration functions.
This position works directly with the owner, CEO, Project and Property Manager, and external partners that include CPAs, bookkeepers, lenders, property management companies, and vendors. The role oversees the company's financial operations and the candidate is expected to provide insight into efficiency, cost control, and process improvements.
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Accurate and timely financial reporting
- Organized and audit-ready records
- Reliable CAM, tax, and insurance tracking and reconciliations
- Reliable coordination with external partners
- Proactive financial analysis and recommendations
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Oversee CAM reconciliations, property taxes, and insurance tracking
- Assist with lease analysis and due diligence
- Manage banking activity and financial records
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
- Coordinate with CPAs on tax preparation
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Review property management reports
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
- Support general office operations when needed
Preferred Experience
- Property accounting or real estate bookkeeping
- Commercial lease interpretation and CAM reconciliations
- Buildium, Quickbooks, Yardi, or similar property management software
- Financial reporting and budget preparation
- Experience working in a small office or family office environment

Work Environment
This is an in-person role based in West Hollywood. The office environment can be demanding, but it is always professional, stable, and collaborative. The ideal candidate enjoys autonomy and the ability to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Relevant accounting or property management experience
- College degree
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass standard security and background checks as required by financial institutions
