There is a common trait amongst managers that grow and get promoted. They can rally a crew. They understand the basic fundamentals of the proper way to do things. Currently I'm in search of an extra sharp Director for Accounting and HR Services Firm to run the day to day for a high output restaurant focused accounting firm . Leadership and intimate knowedge of the accounting function, SAGE specifically, is an absolute must. There no "fake it until you make it" mentality that will work on this front. The screening process will flush out your real skill set here, so if you have not had direct experience in these critical areas, please apply for a different position. This a very dynamic operation with many moving parts and high expectations. To be clear , we would start this position at a $150,000 base and craft a performance incentive.

This a unique opportunity, as you'll lean more about running the business than a typical corporate job. You'll make more of an impact exercising your judgment and taking an ownership mentality.

We are looking for a person that is scrapy, resilient, humble and an innovative leader who takes a sense of ownership rallying the team to execute high standards.

• Achieve sustainable profitability while taking on new clients that align with our core values
• The Accounting and HR teams are fully competent in their current roles and have clear growth trajectories
• Execute at a consistency high level of accountability and ownership mentality across all client work and internal operations
• Identifies and implements AI, automation, and outsourced solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Document and implement standardized processes and procedures for consistency and replication, including a structured and repeatable new client onboarding plan

Below are the most important Attributes that we are looking for in this person:

• Humbly confident: Values professional credibility over personal likability and leads with quiet authority and earned trust
• Technical Expertise in Human Resources, Hospitality Accounting, Payroll, Sage Intacct and advanced Excel, combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to clearly translate complex financial information into actionable insights. Possesses extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in employee relations, California labor compliance, and payroll oversight.
• Ability to rally a team and actively foster our culture through accountability, clarity, and consistent leadership
• Demonstrates pure integrity in every decision, understands personal weaknesses, and practices radical candor with professionalism and respect
• Strategic Alignment: Consistently connect the "boots on the ground" work to the company’s "30,000-foot" goals of profitability, scalability, and long term value creation
