Director, Growth Marketing

As PubMatic grows, it is complementing its enterprise-led model with a scalable SaaS-like approach. As we extend our suite of AI-powered products like PubMatic Assistant, we're investing deeply in full-funnel growth—from activation and product-led conversion to lifecycle retention and expansion. We're looking for a seasoned Director of Growth Marketing to lead this transformation.

Reporting to the CMO, the Director of Growth Marketing will own cross-functional growth strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, and conversion across our SaaS products. You will align performance marketing with lifecycle workflows, funnel metrics, and the Martech stack to unlock product adoption at scale and build the growth engine that defines how PubMatic scales SaaS for the next decade.


What You'll Do:

  • Work with CMO and commercial leadership to define and execute a comprehensive growth strategy across acquisition, trial activation, conversion and expansion
  • Own campaign planning, execution, and attribution across account-based marketing, lifecycle marketing and usage-based nurture flow
  • Build and manage an end-to-end lead funnel, beginning with marketing qualified lead (MQL) and ending in closed/won business
  • Develop lead-scoring models and manage a team of India-based Business Development Representatives (BDR) to develop campaigns, cadences and SLAs that convert demand to revenue
  • Own the growth tech stack (eg. Pardot, Pendo, etc.), lifecycle automation, reporting dashboards and experimentation frameworks
  • Partner with Sales Operations for seamless CRM integration; lead roadmap for automation, attribution, lead scoring and tech stack optimization
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to translate positioning, GTM strategy and product usage data into lifecycle plays, including optimized playbooks and A/B test cycles
  • Provide strategic oversight for performance channels led by Digital Marketing team, including paid advertising, search, SEO and ABM; guide campaign goals, segmentation and testing roadmap
  • Prepare and present growth insights, attribution models and performance dashboards to leadership

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing
  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, including 3+ years leading performance, growth or lifecycle marketing
  • Deep experience with marketing automation, product analytics tools (eg. Pardot, Pendo, Looker, etc.) and data-driven experimentation
  • Proven track record leading growth marketing in cross-functional environments, ideally where execution sits with channel owners
  • Experience managing and developing inside sales or BDR teams a plus
  • Strategic thinker who excels in cross-functional GTM execution and operational rigor
  • Strong analytical capability and ability to turn funnel metrics into optimized business outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence across product, sales, customer success, and operations to drive shared goals
