Position Summary
The Human Resources Director is a senior HR leader responsible for providing both strategic leadership and hands-on execution across the full spectrum of human resources. This role partners closely with Company leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, strengthen organizational capability, and deliver a consistent, high-quality employee experience across multiple locations.
In addition to leading and influencing at a strategic level, this role requires ownership and execution of critical HR administrative and system‑based work, particularly within HRIS platforms to drive operational excellence and enable a positive employee experience.
The HR Director leads key HR functions including employee relations, talent management, total rewards administration, compliance, and people leadership, while actively supporting change initiatives, operational excellence, and growth through acquisition and integration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

Partner with executive leadership and site leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals, workforce planning, and business growth.

Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and leadership development.

Lead change management initiatives associated with growth, and continuous improvement.
People Leadership

Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development to HR team members, fostering accountability, engagement, and professional growth.

Build a strong HR bench with clear expectations, development plans, and succession readiness.
HR Operations & Employee Relations

Oversee and directly support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action, and policy interpretation.

Ensure operational excellence across the full employee lifecycle, and execution of HR administrative and operational tasks when needed.

Promote a culture of inclusion, engagement, and high performance.
Total Rewards & Talent Programs

Support the design and administration of compensation, incentive, and benefits programs.

Analyze market trends and internal data to ensure competitiveness and equity.

Partner with key stakeholders on talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.
HR Technology, Administration & Analytics

Leverage HRIS systems to improve efficiency and data integrity, including maintenance and publication of important HR documents and programs

Utilize HR metrics to inform decision-making and set priorities.

ADP experience strongly preferred.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Support audits and proactively mitigate human capital-related risks.
M&A Support

Active in HR diligence and post-acquisition integration.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR generalist experience.

At least 2 years of people leadership experience.

Willingness to perform critical hands‑on HR administrative work

Knowledge of HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.

Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing locations

M&A experience preferred

HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
