GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

We are seeking a high-integrity, intellectually curious and driven individual with a positive mindset, to join our highly collaborative team. This is a cross-functional role that offers direct exposure to department heads and senior management throughout the organization. The Investor Relations Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company’s investor relations program and will work with the CFO to develop investor relations strategies including: messaging, outreach and targeting.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and update key investor messaging points in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Create investor targeting and outreach plan
  • Own and manage the quarterly investor relations process
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to deliver the highest-quality and most accurate information to internal and external constituents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Track and report on key developments of competitors, tenants and top lines of trade
  • Respond to investor inquiries and requests for information
  • Public company financial analyses including: maintaining public company and vetting sell-side models, valuation, peer benchmarking
  • Create and maintain databases for all reporting deliverables
  • Develop expertise in the Company’s systems, data structure and reporting processes
  • Assist with the development and implementation of business intelligence tools to enhance the investor relations platform
  • Develop and maintain relationships with buyside and sellside analysts, investor relations counterparts, internal stakeholders, third party vendors, industry associations and the NYSE
  • Prepare investor materials, including: quarterly financial reporting packages, marketing materials, earnings call scripts, Q&A preparation, non-financial press releases and the DRP book
  • Prepare internal communications, including: periodic department updates, ad-hoc analyses, Board-related materials and other presentations as needed
  • Support the Proxy process in conjunction with Accounting and Legal
  • Manage the Company’s Annual Report and Annual Meeting processes
  • Comply with NYSE Listings Manager reporting requirements
  • Maintain the Depository Trust Corporation account
  • Assist with the stock certificate process
  • Oversee administrative functions including: event scheduling and logistics, website content, process documentation, printing and budgeting
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field from an accredited college or university; Data Science training and / or Master’s degree a plus; 7+ years related functional and leadership experience; relevant real estate or finance experience preferred.
  • Experience in financial modeling, analysis, and database management
  • Understanding of public equity and real estate markets
  • Understanding of key REIT and Real Estate investment metrics (NOI, FFO, valuation, NAV, cap rates, IRR, ROC, etc…)
  • Experience with Capital Access/BD Corporate, S&P CapIQ, Bloomberg, Power BI, and NYSE Listing Manager preferred
  • Expertise in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
