Director, Market Solutions Group

Axcelus Financial is seeking a high-performing, execution-oriented professional to join the Insurance Policy Support Desk within the Investments & Market Solutions Group. This team plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s continued growth in Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) and Private Placement Variable Annuity (PPVA) solutions—specialized products designed to help ultra-high-net-worth individuals and global institutional investors grow and preserve assets in a tax-efficient way.

Positioned at the intersection of alternative investments, distribution enablement, and insurance operations, the Senior Associate partners closely with external distributors, internal sales teams, relationship managers, brokers, asset managers, and financial advisors. You will monitor and provide support across the full lifecycle of a policy—from initial opportunity intake through case design, underwriting coordination, issuance, premium funding, and investment implementation—ensuring a high-touch, white-glove experience for clients, advisors, RIAs, private banks, broker-dealers, and family offices.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, commercially minded professional who thrives under pressure, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and communicates clearly across channels. Success requires strong coordination skills, comfort navigating complex cases, and the ability to serve as a trusted internal resource supporting external sales efforts. Sales path can lead to roles in sales, complex case support, or other areas of Axcelus.

Axcelus is the largest dedicated private placement insurance provider in the industry, partnering broadly with leading financial institutions. As a result, this role offers exposure to a wide network of banks, brokerages, RIAs, fintech platforms, and alternative asset managers—providing a unique professional development opportunity.

  • Coordinate with operations teams on new and in-force policy servicing, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all workflows.
  • Support premium payment processing, investment funding, and post-issuance actions.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, service, and responsiveness throughout the issuance process.
  • Business Operations & Administrative Excellence
  • Use CRM tools (Dynamics 365 preferred) to track activity, manage pipeline data, and provide reporting to leadership.
  • Monitor case persistence and identify trends or areas for improvement.

  • Maintain organized systems for tracking outstanding items, deadlines, and required documentation.
  • Provide clear, professional communication to advisors, clients, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and meetings.
