Job Description

“Garden Associates”, a future affiliate of Cresset, is seeking a Marketing Director to lead and fully own the firm’s marketing strategy and execution as it undergoes a phased co-branding transformation. This individual will be responsible for driving all brand, digital, content, and integrated marketing efforts for “Garden”, while collaborating with Cresset’s broader marketing team.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role suited for a seasoned marketing professional with a strategic mindset, strong execution capabilities, and deep financial services experience. The ideal candidate will bring the vision and creativity needed to elevate and scale a prominent brand within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as “Garden Associates” dedicated marketing lead, supported by the broader Cresset marketing team.
  • Lead the phased co-branding and positioning of “Garden Associates, a Cresset Company,” shaping messaging, visual identity, and tone to reflect “Garden Associates” distinct value within the Cresset platform.
  • Collaborate with the Cresset marketing team to develop and execute a cohesive strategy for virtual and in-person events.
  • Oversee the development and management of core marketing materials across print and digital, ensuring consistency, quality, and brand alignment.
  • Manage “Garden Associates” digital presence, including website strategy and performance, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Drive or contribute to content development for campaigns, web pages, investor communications, and thought leadership.
  • Identify strategic marketing opportunities to increase visibility, engagement, and brand recognition across key audiences.
  • Support leadership with internal and external communications, particularly during key initiatives and transitions.
  • Collaborate with digital partners to optimize traffic, lead generation, and campaign performance.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and creative agencies to ensure high-quality execution across all deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within financial services or consulting
  • Proven ability to lead brand and marketing strategy in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and agency relationships
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field

What We Offer:

At Cresset, we focus on people first. As a service business, our people are our assets. Engaging our clients and employees is our highest priority. Starting base salary range: $175,000 - $200,000. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses/certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location. Cresset offers a competitive compensation package including an annual incentive and a benefits package to all full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, health savings accounts, short and long-term disability insurance, voluntary critical and accident insurance, and pre-tax parking and transportation programs.
