Director, Marketing and Communications leads the strategic vision for One&Only One Za abeel and SIRO One Za abeel's marketing and communications initiatives, ensuring the brands positioning, messaging, and reputation are effectively managed. Responsible for driving and overseeing all marketing, branding, public relations, and digital strategies to ensure complete viability and maximum market penetration. The Director is also responsible for managing both short- and long-term marketing plans, leveraging partnerships, and ensuring alignment with One&Only and SIRO business objectives and values.

This position plays a key role in brand storytelling, media strategy, and content development to establish both properties as a leader in its segment. This role is crucial in fostering brand awareness, driving engagement, and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Brand Development:

  • Define and implement One&Only One Za abeel and SIRO One Za abeel marketing and brand strategies, ensuring alignment with the global brand team and hotel positioning.
  • Oversee all branding initiatives, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans, ensuring strategic and financial objectives are met.

PR & Media Relations:

  • Serve as the brand s key spokesperson and lead all media relations strategies.
  • Manage external PR agencies to drive positive media coverage and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and key messaging frameworks.

Content & Digital Strategy:

  • Develop compelling storytelling strategies to position One&Only One Za abeel and SIRO One Za abeel as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Oversee content creation, including photography, videography, and editorial pieces.
  • Manage digital marketing, website optimization, and social media strategies to drive engagement and conversions.

Partnerships & Events:

  • Identify and secure strategic brand partnerships to enhance visibility and reach.
  • Lead marketing activations, campaigns, and brand collaborations to drive business objectives.
  • Work closely with event agencies to plan and execute impactful events and activations.

Commercial & Revenue Growth:

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to optimize marketing strategies for direct revenue impact.
  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns to drive guest acquisition and retention.
  • Oversee budget management, ensuring cost-effective execution of all marketing initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and career development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration across departments to maximize marketing effectiveness.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Represent both ptoperties at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and legal compliance across all marketing materials.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies.
  • Oversee guest satisfaction metrics related to brand perception and communication effectiveness.
