RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
  • Define the overall deployment strategy for MEP equipment across the full campus lifecycle.

  • Drive alignment between design, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to meet long-term campus objectives.
  • Serve as an expert stakeholder on deployment risk management, compliance, and escalation resolution.
Program & Team Oversight
  • Lead a team of project-focused MEP deployment managers and coordinators across the campus.
  • Contribute to procurement strategies and vendor partnerships to ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Provide oversight of schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for MEP deployment activities.
  • Ensure consistent execution across all phases of the deployment program.
Technical Governance

Stakeholder & Executive Communication
  • Act as a liaison between project leadership, design consultants, contractors, and operations teams.
  • Deliver regular program updates to stakeholders with clear risk/mitigation strategies.
  • Build trusted relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure long-term collaboration.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in MEP project management, with at least 3+ years focused on mission-critical data center environments or comparable large-scale infrastructure.
  • Proven track record managing deployment of complex mechanical and electrical equipment.
THE DETAILS:
  • Location: Denver, CO or Sterling, VA
  • Travel: Some domestic travel required, up to 20%
  • Compensation: $190,000 - $210,000/year + target bonus

  • Must pass comprehensive background screening
THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
  • You’re a strong communicator, equally comfortable in the boardroom as the data center hall. You’re persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.
  • You don’t get flustered easily. You can juggle multiple priorities while balancing urgent requests with shifting timelines and deliverables.
  • You’re a teambuilder. You take the time to understand and develop the strengths of your resources while formulating long-term plans for the growth and success of the team.
  • You’re naturally curious and driven toward continual improvement. While you celebrate your successes, you take time to review and analyze campaigns for future learning.
WHY STACK?
  • We offer a competitive compensation package with strong benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K program, flexible spending accounts – even a cell phone subsidy.
