The Director, M&A will be a key member of CEMEX’s M&A organization, leading the sourcing, evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and closing of acquisitions (primarily industrial assets and operating companies—often medium‑sized and privately held) in strategic U.S. markets. The role will partner closely with CEMEX’s core businesses (cement, aggregates, and ready-mix) to develop and execute growth strategies. The Director will build advanced financial models, lead due diligence, manage cross‑functional workstreams, and present recommendations to senior leadership; collaboration with corporate M&A/Strategic Planning teams in Monterrey (HQ) may be required for larger transactions.
In addition, this leader will own core elements of the corporate development lifecycle—pipeline development, advisor management, executive‑level materials, deal execution, regulatory filings, and integration planning—in a matrixed environment that requires strong influence and executive communication.

Ability to work extended hours as needed; standard office/computer equipment in an open office environment; role requires regular talking/hearing to communicate with employees/visitors. Flexible working environment with some travel required (~20%).
