About the Role

The Director of Accreditation plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the consistent application of CHAP standards and regulatory requirements across home and community-based care settings. This position oversees accreditation activities within an assigned specialty and geographic region, collaborates with surveyors (site visitors) and accreditation leaders, and supports decision-making throughout the survey process.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and subject matter expert with deep experience in Medicare-certified home health, hospice, or related community-based healthcare settings. This individual thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Expertise in accreditation, regulatory compliance, and Medicare Conditions of Participation.

Qualifications at a Glance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field required; nursing preferred.
  • Master’s degree in nursing or a related discipline preferred.
  • Significant experience in Medicare-certified home health, hospice, or community-based care.
  • Prior accreditation or survey experience is highly desirable.
