A leading digital media co. in the Middle East is seeking a senior Director of Ad Sales to lead and scale its regional advertising revenue business. This is a high-impact commercial leadership role for a proven revenue leader who has built large advertising businesses, owns senior agency relationships, and can consistently deliver multi-million-dollar targets.


The role carries full ownership of the advertising revenue strategy across key regional markets, with an annual target.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own and deliver the full regional advertising revenue strategy across all digital media & content environments
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales organization across agency, brand, and partnerships teams
  • Drive long-term commercial partnerships with major media agencies, trading desks, and enterprise brands
  • Develop monetization products including digital media sponsorships, branded content, contextual advertising, and audience-based solutions
  • Build strong revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and trading structures with full accountability for quarterly and annual targets
  • Work closely with Product, Data, Technology, and Content teams to enhance inventory quality, audience targeting, and campaign measurement
  • Lead annual commercial planning, pricing strategy, deal structuring, and negotiation at enterprise level
  • Position the platform as a premium advertising destination within the regional media ecosystem
  • Track market trends, agency spend shifts, and competitive benchmarks to drive sustained growth


Candidate Profile:


  • 12–18+ years of experience in media, advertising, or large-scale digital platforms
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering an annual revenue
  • Deep relationships with leading regional media agencies and large brand advertisers
  • Strong background in digital advertising, sponsorships, and performance-driven media solutions
  • Experienced leader of multi-layered sales teams with strong commercial discipline
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on commercial execution capability
  • GCC / MENA market experience is strongly preferred
