Director of Artificial Intelligence

We are expanding our AI and automation capabilities across all ventures and internal operations. This role is designed for a visionary leader who can bridge strategy and execution, integrating AI-driven intelligence into every aspect of the business to enhance efficiency, scalability, and innovation.

The Director of AI & Automation will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of artificial intelligence initiatives and business automations across Level Z Technologies. This includes overseeing system integrations, building AI-driven tools, automating workflows, and ensuring AI technologies are deployed responsibly and effectively to support growth across all business units.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role requiring technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to identify opportunities where AI can transform operations, decision-making, and user experiences.

• Develop and execute the company-wide strategy for AI and automation initiatives.
• Identify, prioritize, and lead automation projects that enhance productivity, reduce operational friction, and enable scalability.
• Design and implement AI-powered tools and workflows across departments including operations, marketing, finance, and product.
• Build and maintain integrations between internal systems, CRMs, analytics platforms, and third-party tools using APIs and automation frameworks.
• Oversee prompt engineering, chatbot development, and AI content generation tools to improve communication, service, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create custom AI and automation solutions using platforms like OpenAI, LangChain, or internal models.
• Ensure responsible AI use, compliance with data security and privacy standards, and documentation of all AI/automation systems.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption to maintain a competitive edge.
• Mentor internal teams and build an AI-first culture across the organization.
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading automation or AI integration initiatives across an organization.
• Strong technical knowledge of AI tools, APIs, and platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, Zapier, Make, or n8n.
• Deep understanding of system integration, APIs, JSON, and webhooks, with scripting knowledge (Python or Node.js preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CRM and SaaS systems such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Intercom.
• A track record of driving measurable impact through automation and innovation.
