This is a full-time, remote position (company based in Philadelphia), and requires proven experience developing and winning contracts or task orders with the VA.

The test is broken in 3 parts - cognitive, motivation, and personality. The first section is 12 minutes and it will require your full attention. The other two you can leisurely complete while drinking mate. Overall it should take you around 30 minutes to complete all sections.

Job Description:

The Business Development Director – Department of VA will lead the company’s strategic initiatives to establish and grow home accessibility solutions with the Veterans Affairs and other federal healthcare entities. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and securing contracts that align with All Access Health’s mission to improve healthcare access for seniors and people with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the VA healthcare ecosystem, federal procurement processes, and a proven ability to drive capture and proposal efforts within the VA market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the VA and related federal markets particularly in PA, NJ and DE.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities within VA medical centers, VISNs, and VA Central Office.
  • Stay informed on VA modernization priorities, contracting opportunities, and policy initiatives.
  • Capture & Business Development
  • Lead all stages of business development — from pipeline creation and capture strategy to proposal submission and award.
  • Build and maintain relationships with VA stakeholders, prime contractors, and small business partners.
  • Partner with internal operations to align capabilities with VA requirements.
  • Represent All Access Health at VA and federal industry events, conferences, and outreach sessions.
  • Partnerships & Alliances
  • Establish and manage strategic alliances with other small business partners to expand reach.
  • Collaborate with leadership to structure teaming agreements and joint pursuits.
  • Internal Leadership
  • Provide regular market intelligence and competitive insights to inform executive decision-making.
  • Contribute to the design of solutions tailored for VA programs

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school or above
  • Experience: 8+ years in business development with at least 3+ years focused on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Proven experience developing and winning contracts or task orders with the VA.
  • Strong understanding of VA procurement, GSA schedules, IDIQs, BPAs, and SDVOSB partnerships.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and construction (not required, but nice to have).

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and proposal development skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficiency in using federal procurement tools (e.g., SAM.gov, FPDS, GovWin).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Yearly compensation: $125,000- $150,000
