Director of Business Development
An exciting opportunity is available for a strategic and results-oriented Director of Business Development to lead and grow a high-performing remote sales team. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong background in B2B sales, team leadership, and strategic planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market reach, developing new partnerships, and driving revenue growth, while ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams and delivering long-term value to clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a remote team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and ongoing training to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Develop and implement strategic B2B sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand the company's customer base and partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Drive the sales process from prospecting to closure, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to deliver seamless customer solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and recommending appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in sales, including more than 2 years in a leadership role managing remote teams.
- Proven success in B2B sales within the SaaS and AI solutions industries, with a strong track record of building strategic partnerships and exceeding revenue targets.
- Familiarity with selling into HR and L&D leadership, as well as experience with Human Capital Management solutions.
- Prior experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
- Strong professional network of business leaders across Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
