POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Business Office oversees the financial and administrative operations of the organization’s business office. This role ensures accurate billing, collections, payroll, budgeting, and compliance with all applicable regulations. The director provides strategic leadership to improve efficiency, optimize revenue, and support the organization’s overall goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead and manage the business office team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee billing, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and financial reporting processes.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align financial operations with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.

REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial or administrative management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

· CPR and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of three years supervisory experience in clinical setting/business office required.

· Strategic thinking and decision-making

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines

· Strong interpersonal and team-building skills

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
