Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services. This leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of respiratory care operations within our healthcare facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective team management. Duties
- Lead and manage the Cardiopulmonary services department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Oversee patient care activities related to respiratory therapy, including assessments, treatment plans, and equipment management.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate respiratory care in various clinical settings.
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide training, mentorship, and continuing education opportunities for respiratory therapists and staff.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of medical records related to respiratory services.
- Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy technology and clinical practices to maintain departmental excellence.
Skills
