About Us

We are an established multi-specialty healthcare organization expanding our Clinical Research Division. Our infrastructure is already in place, including experienced investigators, sub-investigators, certified clinical research staff, dedicated research facilities, laboratory capabilities, regulatory support, and patient recruitment resources.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Professional to lead and grow our research department by identifying, securing, and managing clinical trial opportunities from sponsors, CROs, and research networks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who has an established network within the clinical research industry and understands how to bring studies to a site and successfully execute them.

Position Summary

The Director of Clinical Research Operations & Business Development will be responsible for the growth and oversight of our clinical research program.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with research sites, sponsors, CROs, and investigator networks and has a proven track record of securing and managing clinical trials.

This individual will play a critical role in expanding our study portfolio while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

  • Identify and secure new clinical trial opportunities
  • Build relationships with sponsors, CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and research networks
  • Respond to feasibility questionnaires and site qualification surveys
  • Negotiate study budgets and contracts alongside leadership
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events
  • Develop strategies to increase study awards and site utilization
  • Maintain relationships with existing sponsors and CRO partners

Clinical Research Operations

  • Oversee study startup activities
  • Coordinate regulatory submissions and essential documents
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, ICH-GCP, IRB, and sponsor requirements
  • Support recruitment strategies and enrollment initiatives
  • Monitor study performance metrics
  • Assist with investigator meetings and sponsor visits
  • Maintain audit readiness across all studies

Strategic Growth

  • Evaluate new therapeutic opportunities
  • Develop site capabilities presentations
  • Expand investigator relationships
  • Create partnerships that increase study volume and revenue

QualificationsRequired

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience
  • Minimum 3 years in site management, business development, or study startup
  • Proven history of obtaining studies from sponsors and CROs
  • Strong understanding of:
  • FDA regulations
  • ICH-GCP guidelines
  • Clinical trial startup processes
  • Budget and contract negotiations
  • Feasibility and site selection processes
  • Experience working directly with sponsors and CROs
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred

  • CCRP, CCRC, ACRP, or SOCRA certification
  • Existing network of CRO and sponsor contacts
  • Experience with Phase II, III, and IV clinical trials
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas including Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Family Medicine, or Pain Management

Compensation

Base Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience)

Additional Incentives:

  • Bonus for awarded studies
  • Percentage of net revenue generated from studies brought to the organization
  • Performance-based growth opportunities

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has successfully grown a clinical research site, secured studies directly from sponsors and CROs, and can take ownership of our research division from study acquisition through execution. If you have a proven track record of building research programs and bringing studies to sites, we want to speak with you.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
